Clean Toilet Bowls

Pour a couple of cups of white vinegar into the toilet bowl and let stand for a few minutes. Scrub the bowl with toilet brush. Not only does vinegar kill germs, but it clean stains, etc. from the bowl. It's an easy and cheap cleaner -- and safe for the environment.

Clean-smelling Drains

Pour about a cup of baking soda down the garbage disposal and regular drains, followed by a cup or two of vinegar. Let it "bubble" for a few minutes, then run hot water down the drains for a couple of minutes. This will not only make your drains smell better, but it will loosen up small clogs.

Too Many Plastic Sacks

Purchase and use the grocery/department store CLOTH bags. Plastic bags are littering the fields, roadways, forests and waterways. Plastic bags can seriously harm and kill wildlife. They get caught in farmers' field equipment. Cloth bags are lightweight and washable, and they are much easier to carry than the plastic ones.

Don't Lose Your Car in the Parking Lot

I helped an elderly lady find her car, just a day ago. If this happens to you, don't forget to press your "panic" button on your car key remote. Your lights will blink and the horn will blow. You'll find your vehicle!

Tape It

I'm on the road a lot, so I live out of my suitcase. I keep a roll of masking tape (wide) in my suitcase, so if I have any kind of lint from hotel dryers, human or dog hair, anything that clings to my clothing, I just pull off a long strip, stick to my garmet and pull off what ever it is sticking to my cloths. It's cheaper than those lint removers you buy from the stores. Keep a roll in your car, too! It comes in handy for other uses.

Finger Nail Polish Remover

When removing finger nail polish, use an old dryer sheet and finger nail polish remover. It really works great, and most of the time you will only need one.

I HATE LOVE BUGS!

I live in rural SW Florida. Twice a year, we're plagued by these flying critters called "love bugs." During the months of May and October, these bugs make their debut. Travel ANY roadway, and your windshield becomes virtual bug soup! These pesky critters totally obliterate your visibility. I ALWAYS keep at least 1 Mega Roll of SCOTT Towels in my trunk along with a GOOD bug remover.
